Match Report -  Newtown Juniors 1 - Tigers 1

Another tough game for the Tigers against old rivals Newtown Juniors. Newtown started the quicker and dominated the opening ten minutes, resulting in a close range goal after a spell of posession, with hard work from Ben Bentham and safe keeping from Charlie keeping the score to one nil. However, as the half went on the Tigers created more opportunities with Clark twice going close. A cleverly taken early second half goal from Sam Clark settled Tigers nerves a little and a more even second half resulted with both teams creating opportunities without being able to take them. Jack Farmer and Harry Stratford went close for the Tigers and Sam Jones and Ben at the back looked a strong unit and dealt with the Newtown attacks. Sam, Mitch, Will and Tom all worked hard too and though this was a less assured performance than usual from the Tigers, mainly due to some quality play from the Newtown team, the whole team contributed to a good result against a good footballing team.

Match Report - Tigers U9s 1 - Droitwich Panthers U9s 0

An excellent result for the Tigers takes their unbeaten run to 5 matches. However, this was a classic game of two halves with Tigers dominating the first half and a rampant Panthers team the second. It took an excellent goal from Harry Stratford and a superb goal keeping performance from Sam Clark to keep the Panthers at bay in a fairly contested match between these old rivals. As usual all the Tigers players gave their all and contributed to a good team result.

Match Report: Warndon Cobras 1 - Tigers U9s 1

A good draw for the Tigers against the league's form team resulted from another excellent all round team performance with the Tigers again dominatng possession for long periods. A goal from Jack Farmer and several good saves from Louis Simmons earnt the Tigers a point but with several players going close only to be denied by the woodwork and a fine goalkeeping performance from the Cobras keeper, the Tigers could well have won the game.

Well done everyone.
