Winter Weather:

During the winter months please ensure that your child is properly attired for the conditions – lots of layers are good. In the event of very bad weather we may have to cancel the Development Centre.  If the weather is poor please phone the wet weather line (07593 619039) – we will update this by 9.30am on a Sunday to state whether the development centre is on or off.

The Development Centre and ‘bad weather’

In autumn and winter there may be occasions when the Development Centre is cancelled due to bad weather. The decision to cancel is always made with the safety of the children in mind first and foremost.

To help you understand if training is ‘on or off’ we have a mobile phone number for you to call; A message will be placed on the phone no later than 9.00am each Sunday explaining if the Centre is open or not.

Occasionally we will cancel the "Cubs" group depending on conditions as the youngest children are most susceptible to bad weather.

Please do not leave a message as we cannot guarantee it will be attended to.

If training is on please still ensure that children are appropriately dressed for the conditions and always bring shin pads and a non carbonated drink with them. I cold weather a woolly hat is also recommended as children lose the majority of body heat through the head and due to their size can get cold.

If you have any questions please feel free to speak to one of our coaches
